In junior high, I was still kind of athletic, but by high school I started to plump up. Yes, I understand this is due to my choices. I like real Coke; I like chocolate; I like naps. So, when a book comes along with a fat or fat ish character I pay attention. I want to read a book that includes a fat character where they have a fulfilling life without having to go through the transformation of weight loss.
