Its all about me book
Its All About Me by Nancy CoteThis book tracks some major milestones in a boys life as he matures from an infant to a big brother. It moves quickly, so toddlers stay interested. What I liked about it is the big brother at times feels negative about his baby brother but realizes that, overall, he is glad to have a sibling. It created a great opportunity for me to talk to my toddler about her feelings toward her younger sister. It also presents the idea of a third child, which would make it great to read to kids when expecting the third baby (which I am not).

These are our favorite all about me books — perfect for helping children celebrate the unique people that they are! I Like Myself! A vibrant little girl likes herself no matter where she goes, what she does, how she looks, or what others think of her. Rather than talk about real careers kids have when they grow up, it celebrates what kids can do now. Marvelous Me, by Lisa Bullard. This book is about appreciating what makes oneself unique, but the audience is a little unclear — especially when it is revealed at the end that Alex has an identical twin. Chrysanthemum, by Kevin Henkes.
