Using the iPad for: Writing Novels
I fought the notion of a mechanical keyboard for my iPad for years. Small keys. Crappy feel. So why, then, am I typing this with a mechanical keyboard on my iPad? For years, I asked myself this exact question, and I answered it simply by using my Mac. After all, typing long-form on a Mac is a great experience. But there are a few things that give writing on iPad a slight advantage.
There are a lot of great options available in this golden age of writing applications for the Mac and iOS, but we believe that Ulysses is the cream of the crop. A pro writing app is a powerful writing tool engineered to meet the needs of people who get paid to write words.

How To Write a Book on the iPad
It's said that everyone has a novel inside them, the hard part is getting it out. But with a tablet it's now easier than ever, as you can write whenever and wherever you happen to be. Of course there are still hurdles. Even if you're strong enough to resist the lure of the latest games and are tired of refreshing Facebook you need the right apps and tools to get the job done. Thankfully if you've got an iPad there's an ever growing number to choose from. Here's where to start. The iPad mini 3 is great, but if you want to write a novel you're ideally going to want a bigger canvas, so a full sized model like the iPad Air 2 is preferable.
