The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine - Main Quest walkthrough
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was one of the best games to come out in recent memory, full of exciting lands to explore and vicious monsters to defeat. With all the possibilities available to players, it's entirely possible that some of the optional objectives were completely overlooked in the course of your playthrough. There are dozens upon dozens of new things to see in Toussaint, including a host of secondary quests that range from engaging in unconventional fistfights to posing for a painting to obtaining a legendary sword. This first entry is actually a pair of related side quests, one of which will unlock once you complete the first. Wandering around the majestic city of Beauclair, players are sure to stumble upon the regions fist fighting questline, Fists of Fury: Toussaint. As with the other similar quests in the main game , you are tasked with taking on three challengers and defeating them in unarmed combat. However, fistfights in Toussaint have a bit of a twist to them.
The difference between it and most other open-world games, though, is that almost all of them are worthwhile. Instead of simply fist-fighting a bunch of strongmen, you fight one of them, must counter three hits from the second, then insult-swordfight the third, and fight your final opponent drunk. But no, it has to go and get all tragic; the way you unlock more powerful mutations is by using the research of a man who was trying to cure his son of them.

One year after The Witcher 3 's release came the final - and biggest - expansion for this modern classic. Our guide provides you with a walkthrough for every Main Quest in the Blood and Wine's storyline; full solutions for every one of Blood and Wine's Secondary Quests ; survival guides for all of the monster-hunting Contracts ; the locations of all the sets of Grandmaster Crafted Witcher Gear ; and a guide to the new character progression system, Mutations. It's going out on a high though, with a superb and generous expansion set in the colourful, courtly realm of Toussaint. At review, we awarded Blood and Wine an Essential just like the main game and judged it "a fitting end to an exceptional game". This is mostly fairly linear, although note that at the end of the quest The Night of the Long Fangs , the storyline splits in two directions depending on a decision you make. There are two rather different quests to follow.
It's mostly fairly linear, although of course you can divert off this path to do secondary quests, contracts, Gwent games and the like at will. There are tips on where to pick up quests and find Relic armour along the way. Note that at the end of the quest The Night of the Long Fangs , the storyline splits in two directions depending on a decision you make. There are two rather different quests to follow. After these, the plots recombine for your final confrontation with the expansion's ultimate villain. If you're still playing the main campaign you can simply carry on and play the DLC alongside the plot, or you can start a new game and have it create a suitably equipped Geralt for you.
