No, Supes best friend is Jimmy Olsen. I think they are, just not in the traditional sense. It's not like they're going to have a bros night and watch Die Hard together, but they would break apart the world if the other was in danger. Bruce doesn't really have a best friend, maybe Zatanna, and Clark's is definitely Jimmy. FadeToBlackBolt said:.

In the recent Zack Snyder film Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, the two superheroes spent the what feels like the most time together on-screen in cinematic history, trying to pummel the other unrecognizable. The film showed them feeding on the insecurities, fears, and doubts each of them had towards the other, and a maniacal Lex Luthor manipulating them into a combat that never needed to happen. From then on, their relationship would wax and wane. Batman and Superman come from different backgrounds, and their different life experiences have dramatically shaped their world views. Batman believes fear and intimidation are the only way to bring criminals to justice, and Superman believes hope and setting a good example accomplishes the same thing. Superman, ever the optimist, believes the world is inherently good, and that criminals can change their ways if one leads by example and inspires them to be better. When Bruce Wayne lost his parents as a young boy, he discovered too early that the world was a tough and unfeeling place.

If you think about it, it makes sense - doesn't just about everyone wind up making friends with their co-workers? Batman and Superman are almost more iconic together than they are as individual heroes. As the issue progresses, it stops cutting between Bruce and Selina and Clark and Lois every other page and starts bringing them together to share pages in halves, and the dialogue becomes more and more mirrored. As it does so, the conversations each couple are having with each other get a little more personal, a little more intimate. It becomes less about Batman and Superman moping and more about how they compare to each other as people. In both scenarios, each of them think much more highly of the other than they do themselves. Only then is it revealed that the two cases Batman and Superman are working on are actually two halves of the same case—and after they emotionally tell their respective partners that maybe they never were really close friends anyway, they bump into each other.

Be that as it may, Batman does have friends. And more than you would think from such an elusive character. It's not easy earning Batman's trust, but once you do, there's no one else you'd rather have in your corner. But there are many other close associates of Batman you might not be aware of. And they're also both heroes who aren't blessed with superpowers, and instead must rely on their physical prowess and trusty gadgets to fight crime.
