Hello Everybody! This is not only my first contribution but also my first attempt at poetry. I wrote the first verse of this poem when I was seventeen years old and very much in what my seventeen year old self considered love. I originally wrote the poem on New Years Day after experiencing my first kiss with who I considered to. In my dream, I smiled as I felt my husband curl up behind me. As he wrapped his arms around me, I snuggled in just a little. Then it struck me.

Contributors xam contributors! The origin of the Moon is an episode in the story of the Mantis and his pet eland. Thus the moon is red, because the shoe of the Mantis was covered with the red dust of the Bushmanland, and cold, because it is only leather. We have two versions of this myth, a shorter one LII.
