Ready for Anything: 52 Productivity Principles for Work and Life

The focus of this readable book is on various practical principles that will increase productivity. These principles are behavioral, social, educational, emotional and spiritual, and they are as commonsensical as they are sublime. They show how the business world, the human brain and heart, and the social structures of society work. Divided into fifty-two short but densely packed chapters, the book is philosophical in a practical way. Aligning philosophy and practicality might seem strange to some who believe that success and productivity in work come naturally.

Discover David Allen's powerful productivity principles and vastly increase your ability to work better, not harder -- every day. The "guru of personal productivity" -- Fast Company -- asks listeners what's holding them back and shows how all of us can be "ready for anything" -- with a clear mind, a clear deck, and clear intentions.

I can witness — as many people do — that it tremendously increases my productivity while minimizing my stress. Since Getting Things Done has been very influential to me, I hoped that reading more productivity tips from the same author will bring my productivity to the next level. Each part contains several chapters with 52 chapters in total. This part outlines what the five parts of the book are about. Part V contains checklists and reminders. It has big impact on my GTD implementation. As a result, there were many items in my project and next action lists that never get done.

This is the perfect inspirational and motivational book for anyone wanting to work and live at their very best. The content was okay, but I found I am stuck between a 3 and 4 star rating. The content is good, but you have to go through a lot to mine those good nuggets. Ready For Anything : 52 productivity principles for work and life.
