Muista minut. Born on August 8 th , , Andy Warhol was a successful visual artist, filmmaker and known as the leading figure of the s Pop art movement. He delivered such big contributions in variety of art forms including filmmaking, performance art, writing and filmmaking. He started to work as an independent artist in the s, and after the international breakthrough in , he began to print his posters with the requests from different art galleries. Warhol died on February 22 nd , I was lucky enough to have a chance to visit the exhibition on the first day it opened.

The source of the "Catalogue of an exhibition of his art in Stockholm, Sweden " is curious. This exhibition included a bunch of "fake" Andy Warhol Brillo boxes. Doesn't this call the source of the quote into question? I think that the "15 minutes of fame" quote is wrong. According to the trivia book This Book , what he actually said was, "In the future, there won't be any more stars. TV will be so accessible that everybody will be a star for 15 minutes.
Warhol art prints are high-quality prints on special, mostly heavy or textured papers. The printing technique is chosen so that the colors and the haptic impression of the original are reproduced as faithfully as possible. Art prints are often made with decorative colors such as gold and silver as well as embossing. In contrast, posters designate any form of decorative print. Often thinner papers and simpler printing techniques are used.
