What episode do buffy and spike get together
Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Love Dares You by Christos GageThe art work is not the same, but this was a fantastic volume in the Buffy verse I thought. All the gang is together, Spike and Buffy and trying out this dating thing again and a very big, very new big bad has been introduced. Its nothing earth shattering, but its been some good storytelling.
The characters have shown a little bit of growth and nothing completely stupid happened in this one. I am enjoying this. I think they have finally gotten this right. Buffy even takes a walk inside Spikes mind, talk about trust and scariness. Would anyone really want their loved one to see everything in their head they have done or thought?? I dont know. I think that could be very difficult.
Im in for some more.
Buffy and Spike's first kiss // Spuffy
Club has a truly fantastic interview with James Marsters, aka Spike. That scene, in which Spike tries to get Buffy to say she loves him, and ends up nearly raping her, is devastating to watch. And as Marsters describes it, the process by which they came up with the idea for the scene was pretty devastating as well. The fact that he cultivated enough trust with his writers for them to share those stories is remarkable in itself. In the case of that scene, one of the female writers, in college, had been broken up with by her boyfriend, and decided that if she went over to his place, and if they made love one more time, everything would be fine. In switching the genders of the characters, though, the result is pure horror.
The two started off as clear enemies, but later had become reluctant allies. Spike ends up falling in love with Buffy during Season Five, but she does not return the feelings. She is concerned and disturbed of his growing obsession over her. Buffy is however touched when Spike deals with significant torture to protect her and her sister Dawn from Glory. They reconcile and fight together until Buffy sacrifices herself. Spike is devastated.
Buffy Summers had various relationships over the years. Buffy Summers' main romantic relationships were with the vampires Angel and Spike. Buffy always sought deep, committed relationships rather than casual bonds; unfortunately, she was most often drawn to dangerous or unobtainable men. While discussing a painful reunion with Angel with her friend Willow Rosenberg , Buffy remarked: "Isn't that where the fire comes from? Can a nice, safe relationship be that intense? I know it's nuts, but part of me believes that real love and passion have to go hand in hand with pain and fighting. Buffy's attitude toward romance changed with time as she grew more mature and decided not to be dependent on men.
Long before there was Team Edward and Team Jacob, there was only one supernatural love triangle that mattered. As part of EW 's amazing reunion to mark the 20th anniversary , she has given her say on who should be Buffy's one-and-only. I think that Spike understood a different part of who Buffy was and I think she needed to understand that and discover. But for me as Buffy, I think Angel. Joss Whedon has our back, kind of. You can't argue with that.
