Teenage Head with Marky Ramone- Full Time Fool
Reviewer Rating. Canada's original punk rock bad boys Teenage Head team up with Marky Ramone here to re-record an album of Head classics. The idea for this recording started when Head guitarist Gord Lewis and bassist Steve Marshall performed a short set with Marky Ramone at the conclusion of a couple of his spoken word performances.
Teenage Head with Marky Ramone
He came up here and did two shows and at the end of them he puts a little band together and they do Ramones songs. Steve Marshall , the bass player, and myself were part of that band. At the end we asked him to record and fortunately we were able to do it. What followed was a whirlwind recording session over four days in , resulting in the album Teenage Head With Marky Ramone, put out in Canada this week on the Sonic Unyon label. We did vocal tracks for 12 songs in two days. We initially asked if Marky would play drums on the record and Marky was the one who brought up the idea of bringing up Daniel Rey.
